Dr. Jennifer Arnold, MD, MSc, FAAP
Neonatologist | Medical Educator | Healthcare Innovator | Motivational Speaker
Dr. Jennifer Arnold is a board-certified neonatologist, medical school professor, and global leader in healthcare simulation whose work has transformed pediatric care and education. Currently, she practices neonatology at Boston Children’s Hospital—a Harvard-affiliated institution—and serves as the Executive Director of Immersive Design Systems. In her expanded leadership role, she has also recently taken on the position of Medical Director of the Skeletal Dysplasia Clinic at the Bone Health Center, further underlining her commitment to advancing specialized care and patient safety.
A true pioneer, Dr. Arnold brings a rare blend of professional expertise and personal insight to her work. Born with Spondyloepiphyseal Dysplasia Type Strudwick—a rare form of dwarfism that required more than 30 orthopedic surgeries—and an eleven-year cancer survivor, she understands firsthand the challenges of navigating complex healthcare systems. This personal journey fuels her commitment to empowering patients, families, and caregivers to become confident advocates for their own care.
Over a career spanning more than two decades, Dr. Arnold has held leadership roles at premier institutions including Texas Children’s Hospital and Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, establishing nationally recognized simulation programs that have reshaped pediatric education. Her scholarly contributions include over 20 peer-reviewed publications and numerous book chapters, backed by grants from esteemed organizations such as the Laerdal Foundation and MD Anderson.
Dr. Arnold’s dynamic presence extends far beyond the hospital. As a decade-long reality television star on TLC’s The Little Couple and a New York Times bestselling author of Life is Short (No Pun Intended) and Think Big, she has inspired millions worldwide. With a social media following exceeding one million, she also hosts Boston Children’s Hospital’s Answers: A Parentcast, bringing vital pediatric healthcare conversations to a broader audience. Her engaging storytelling and unyielding optimism have made her a sought-after speaker, with appearances on Oprah, The Today Show, CNN, Good Morning America, Dr. Oz, and more.
Dr. Arnold has delivered keynotes and participated in panels for a diverse range of audiences—from leading tech giants like Google and Microsoft to esteemed academic institutions such as Harvard Medical School, Columbia University, and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Mental Health Counselor
Lindsey Rickard is a licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with nearly two decades of experience in behavioral health, leadership development, and organizational culture. She earned her B.A. in Psychology with a specialization in Human Services from Daemen University and her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Medaille University.
Lindsey began her career in 2007, working in residential treatment, substance use disorder services, and integrated outpatient care. With a strong clinical foundation, she transitioned into leadership, focusing on training, workforce development, and employee experience. She has extensive expertise in coaching leaders, designing professional development programs, and building high-performing teams.
In her current role at BestSelf Behavioral Health, Lindsey oversees learning and development, leadership development, onboarding, employee experience, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB). She is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace, ensuring employees have the tools, resources, and culture needed to thrive.
With a passion for professional growth and organizational excellence, Lindsey partners with leaders and teams to enhance workplace culture, leadership capacity, and employee engagement. Her approach blends clinical insight with strategic leadership, creating meaningful learning experiences and initiatives that empower individuals and organizations to reach their full potential.
Catherine Maloney, LMHC
Director of Learning & Development
Catherine Maloney is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with diagnostic privileges and the Director of Learning & Development at BestSelf Behavioral Health. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Saint Bonaventure University and an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Medaille College. With over ten years of experience in community mental health, Catherine has worked in residential, substance use, and group-based programs since 2012. She previously served as a program director at a BestSelf Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, where she led integrated outpatient services for three years.
Catherine is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and has completed several advanced certifications, including the Master Trainer Certificate, Making Training Stick Certificate, and Gamification Level One Certification. These credentials demonstrate her expertise in delivering impactful training and applying game-design principles to enhance learner engagement. Catherine is also currently pursuing certification as a Lean Professional through the University of Buffalo, further expanding her skills in process improvement and operational efficiency.

Yvette Tucker is the Workforce Development Administrator for Arizona Complete Health (a wholly owned subsidiary of Centene Corporation). In her role, she collaborates with system partners, health care providers, and communities across Arizona to drive effective change in the workforce. She is an innovative leader that takes a consultative approach toward enhancing organizational effectiveness and is committed to improving the learning process- which has been a driving force throughout her two-decade career in Learning & Development. Yvette is enthusiastic about developing life-long learners, leadership development, and leading diversity, equity, & inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Yvette holds a Master of Arts degree in Adult Education, and her expertise includes adult learning theory,
distance learning, and application of instructional design strategy. MA., MS., LAAC - Workforce Development (WFD) Administrator
Mark F. is the Workforce Development (WFD) Administrator for Heath Choice/BlueCross BlueShieldAZ and has been involved in WFD since 2018. He has a master’s degree in counseling psychology and in addiction counseling. Previously, Mark was the clinical trainer for a Behavioral Health provider in Maricopa County. He also was a licensed counselor for an At-Risk-Youth program for 7 years with the National Guard. (Civilian side) Mark is also a certified instructor for a number of suicide prevention and mental health workshops. Mark volunteers for his local police department on the Crisis Support Team, supporting first responders and the community.
Selena McDonald
Workforce Development Administrator
Selena McDonald is the Workforce Development Administrator at Banner Health Plans. In her 17 years as a servant leader in healthcare, she has championed systems change to improve healthcare within the community. Selena experienced a career highlight through her participation in strategic collaborations that serve to respond to needs and address gaps across the Arizona healthcare network. Some of those efforts include leading the creation and revision of statewide healthcare training curriculum, creating and encouraging career pathways through apprenticeships and the AZ Healthcare Careers hub, and workforce data collection efforts across AZ which gathered feedback from over 26,000 healthcare employees serving the state. Selena has previously served as a Health Educator, Case Manager, and Population Health Management Administrator. She holds a B.S. in Health Sciences with a focus on Community Health Education, an MPA with an emphasis on Healthcare Management, as well as certificates in Project Management (PMP), Integrated Talent Management, and Healthcare Analytics. Outside of work, Selena enjoys traveling and time with her family and friends.

Peter Wright, MBA CBIST is the Director of Learning & Development for Collage Rehabilitation Partners, a neurorehabilitation company operating residential and community-based programs in 13 US states. He has 30 years experience in the field of brain injury rehabilitation, and currently oversees training and development for more than 1000 direct care, management and therapy staff. He enjoys working with clinical professionals to create dynamic educational experiences that meet the needs of a diverse group of learners.
Mr. Wright is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer, Medication Administration Trainer, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention and Red Cross Instructor. He is currently serving his second term on the Board of Governors of the Academy for the Certification of Brain Injury Specialists, chairing content development committees for rehabilitation education. He has spoken nationally on a variety of topics, including learning design, vocational rehabilitation, veterans and TBI, therapeutic relationships, and inclusive leadership. He and his team have been using Relias since 2016.
Mr. Wright has a BA in Psychology and an MBA in Biotech & Health Industry Management from The Pennsylvania State University. In his free time, he enjoys keeping life simple with family time, books, movies, music, and playing with the dogs.

Marcus Stallworth, LMSW
Marcus Stallworth, LMSW, has close to 20 years in Child Protective Services and is recognized by the State of Connecticut as an expert witness for Superior Court for juvenile matters. He has spearheaded initiatives to promote the engagement of fathers, identify the dangers of social media, and raise awareness of equity and inclusion. He has experience educating and supporting victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation, including those in foster care. He held a leadership role in Connecticut’s Disaster Behavioral Health Response Network and oversaw recovery efforts in Newtown, CT after the events on December 14, 2012.
Marcus has spent the last several years working with the Child Welfare League of America and now serves as Director of Training and Implementation. This work has provided him the opportunity to assist child welfare agencies across the U.S. and internationally with implementation strategies to achieve positive outcomes for children and families. He has published many articles regarding the importance of using strength-based language, how to support grieving children, and ways to reduce and prevent disruptions.

Dr. Hassan M. Abdulhaqq is an accomplished Human Resources Executive, professor, and keynote speaker with over 30 years of experience leading HR initiatives for some of the largest global and domestic non-profit and financial institutions. Currently serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer for AABR, Inc., a major 501(c)(3) organization based in Queens, Dr. Abdulhaqq plays a key role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities throughout the New York region. In addition to his executive leadership, Dr. Abdulhaqq is an adjunct professor affiliated with Columbia University, New York University, Stony Brook University, and Vaughn College, among others. Terence Fitzgerald, PhD, EdM, MSW
Terence Fitzgerald, PhD, EdM, MSW, who specializes in trauma-informed, resilience-oriented, equity-focused systems (TIROES), was previously a clinical associate professor of social work at the University of Southern California’s Suzanne Peck-Dworak School of Social Work. As both a social worker and a race and gender scholar, Fitzgerald worked with K-12 grade levels as a school social worker, and then later as a special education equity coordinator in racially and economically diverse settings in central Illinois. He has worked with social justice grassroots organizations that focus on marginalized children and families, aligned for the purpose of meeting state and federal requirements, and helped organizations and corporations work toward meeting the needs of culturally and socially just organizations and environments. Professionally, he has utilized his program and curriculum evaluation talents to enable public schools in Illinois to make financial, efficient, ethical, racially just policy, program and curriculum changes. His expertise as a racial scholar is spotlighted in numerous international and national media outlets, peer-reviewed journals, and collaborative and independently published books.
